AIMA is a non-government association founded in 2008 in Kabul Afghanistan and is a non-profit association dedicated to the ideals of Islamic medicine.
The mission of AIMA is to provide a forum and resource for Muslim physicians and other health care professionals in Afghanistan. AIMA seeks to promote a greater awareness of Islamic medical ethics and values among health professionals and the community-at-large, to provide humanitarian and medical relief, and to be an advocate in health care policy.
As a non-profit Association, AIMA provides free medical camps, health education and research opportunities for health professionals , medical, dental and nursing students, community people and all those who are in need. AIMA focuses its efforts on promotion of health, encourage medical ethics and advocate in health care policies of the country
Afghanistan Islamic Medical Association takes a pride to announce the establishment of its first Model hospital namely AL-HAYAT HOSPITAL in Kabul Afghanistan which is hoped to be a good role model for all hospitals on national level , reflecting Islamic medical ethics.
The establishments of AL-HAYAT hospital will not only become a role model in propagating and encouraging Islamic medical ethics but will also benefit patients and community at a whole in terms of provision of quality and medical care.
